Winka is a football platform where fans predict matches, compete with friends and win, without gambling. I led the product and built it around an approved Islamic business model, so it stays halal from the ground up.

Two constraints defined the product: the religious model and the operators it launches through.

01Competitive, but halal

Challenge
Fans love predicting results and competing, but betting is haram, so betting-based prediction products are off the table.
Decision
Designed the product around an approved Islamic business model: no betting and no stakes, while keeping the competition and the prizes.
Result
A prediction game fans can play without gambling.

02Built with operators

Challenge
The platform launches through mobile operators, each with its own value-added-service (VAS) requirements.
Decision
Worked directly with operators on their VAS requirements and led commercial and contract coordination through signing.
Result
Operator contracts signed and the platform moving toward launch.
